Clubs and Societies
These groups provide a variety of involvement opportunities for both full- and part-time students, ranging from academic and cultural to civic and special interest. Clubs sponsor a wide variety of activities on campus for students and are organized by students. Many of the clubs meet weekly or monthly. All clubs welcome new members to join in their activities and attend meetings.
A student activity period is scheduled from 2 - 4 p.m. on Thursday of each week to provide time for students and faculty to participate in clubs and activities of special interest.
Excelsior Community College students have helped to create their destiny by developing their communication and leadership skills in student-run clubs. A sample of College clubs and activities include:
- Chess Club
- Circle K Club
- Computer Club
- Environmental Club
- Leo Club
- Performing Arts Society
- Spanish Club
- Tourism Action Club
- University and Colleges Christian Fellowship
Please help improve the college experience for you, your peers and for future generations by reactivating a club or by starting a new club.
